As we kiss summer goodbye we began the transition to fall. The change in seasons for the midwesterner is all too expected and often unwelcome, after all, who wants to give up their warm-weather pursuits. Soon we will see the landscape begin to turn and the dynamic color explosions ignite.

This is the season of transitions; from stunningly beautiful topography, fresh apple cider with warm donuts to fresh new fashion trends to greet the changing weather as we begin a new journey discovering the many exciting and new elements. I truly believe that Michigan is one of the most beautiful and versatile states in the contiguous US. If you have the chance to travel our state you will see such an expanse and variety in our scenery - from abundant lakes and rivers to beaches and dunes - mountainous hilly terrain to miles and miles of farmland. Fall is especially enticing, so if you are thinking about seeing the sites be sure to check out the many colorful landscapes with a drive along Michigan’s extraordinary shorelines, vistas, valley’s and countrysides. You won’t be disappointed!

Let the transformation begin. Look for our updates and fashion trend reports throughout the season.

We hope you enjoy the journey as much as we do! www.hauteisonline.com

Every fashion mecca is in full swing with the coming of the biggest fashion season. Major designers, casting agents, bookers and myriads of models are all converging for the vast array of castings and shows set to begin. Starting in New York and moving to Europe. What will be the takeaways from this season, with the volatile climate of both European and American politics, we are starting to see more messaging on clothing - case in point; Prabal Gurung’s powerful finale statements on immigration placing sashes on his models asking “Who gets to be American?”. The shape of things to come is the changing with the dynamic inclusion of body shapes and types taking over the catwalks more and more each season, diversity in was all to prevalent this season and prominently on display as more fashion houses realize that the average women is not a 0, 2 or 4, will it last? Only time will tell. Look for our updates and fashion trend reports throughout the season!

Fashionably Yours!
