Residing in the refurbished Detroit Fire Station now a hotel, you will find The Apparatus Room. This lively stop as you enter downtown has been a hallmark to the burgeoning restaurant market highlighting Detroit's resurgence. Since opening its doors in May of 2017, this culinary treat has become a prime destination for both the young and old. Hip and upbeat but still accessible for the older crowd that wants to mix it up.

I had the pleasure of spending my birthday here. My meal of braised short ribs with carrot and coconut puree, spring vegetables, green curry jus was incredible. Actually, I've spent quite a few evenings lounging at the bar viewing a fashion show or meeting friends and every time was a fun and unique experience. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit this amazing restaurant, along with the beautiful hotel you are definitely missing out.
