LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Each year the afterburn of winter leaves us with the harsh reality of what a change in weather does for the body and soul. as I age that becomes more and more truth. I ask myself the question can I survive another cold front, heavy snowfall and climate change in general. With weather patterns becoming more abrupt, I ask myself what will 2021 bring? As my dear dad recently retorted after a much-needed break from the frigid temperatures. “Even when there is snow on the ground if the sun peeks through you instantly feel so much better” Little by little the change in seasons beckons us to feel a bit more free to expose those parts of us both mind and body that we tuck away underneath the blankets of winter.

Now more than ever we are facing challenges of epic proportions. The (COVID-19) Coronavirus is proving to be one the this decades most threatening tests; not just for human survival but also for our moral, economical and financial foundations. We are at a call to understanding that each day we may be losing a little more freedom but we must also keep the faith and spirit that this will pass and that we will hopefully learn from it for future reference.

Springing Up is still our new mantra and it’s definitely in the air here at Haute Is Online, as you may note with the coming season so are some changes to our web presence and our way of bringing you more fashion, beauty, and lifestyle news with highlights from around the globe.
