A fitting grand finale for the Chanel brand and the tenure and legacy of Karl Lagerfeld. The beautifully staged show was as always a resplendent homage to taste and style. Complete with falling snow, the showing was filled with beautifully tailored coats and suits topped with match fedora hats. Plenty of texture from sheer tops over crisp white shirts, alpine sweaters, skirts all retained the signature touches that make Chanel one of the most sought after luxury concerns. A bit somber and reticent of the loss of a great couturier such as Lagerfeld. The industry will sustain but will never be the same.
