About Adachi
By Roberé Lett | Publisher | Style Editor
Adachi is a very ancient name 足立 Adachi (Standing Legs)
I hadn't been to Downtown Birmingham in quite some time, but in having the opportunity to celebrate my dear friend Tiffany's belated birthday, she wanted to try Adachi located inside the historic Ford-Peabody Mansion. Adachi is a Japanese inspired restaurant that serves fresh fish, specializing in sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi and is also known for their Yakitori. We had the awesome Kobe sliders and Wagyu steaks. Everything was well prepared and tasty, and a bit pricey but worth the cost. The restaurant features cocktails and beers and a substantial wine and sake list. I spoke with General Manager David Kraus about the latest updates for Adachi. We created a tented outdoor patio space that allows for more socially distant seating in a beautiful setting. "We were able to incorporate our incredible maple tree within the tent, enabling us to keep our tree as part of the decor along with Japanese lanterns and gorgeous cherry blossoms throughout, making it a cozy, inviting atmosphere for the coming seasons".
